Participants will learn about mental health vs. mental illness and the importance of early intervention. We will discuss behavioral, emotional and physical indicators, and reflect on how to respond. This course is designed to give participants the tools to respond with confidence when there is a concern. Practicing non-judgmental listening skills, group discussions and the basic Do’s and Dont’s when offering help. The course will provide resources and tips for self care.
