About this Event
This Mental Health First Aid training course provides learners with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to recognise signs of mental ill health and respond appropriately and supportively. The course supports participants to have safe, compassionate conversations, offer initial support, and guide individuals towards appropriate professional help.
Using real-life scenarios, discussion, and practical tools, the training explores common mental health conditions, crisis situations, stigma, and the impact of mental health on individuals and workplaces. The course promotes empathy, early intervention, and wellbeing-focused practice while recognising professional boundaries and responsibilities.
