The Pandemic has made Mental Illness a parallel crisis. No Doubt. But where do Frontline Workers go when we all depend on them for help?
About this Event

Following the successful 1st Mental Health Legislative and Policy Reform Conference for government officials, which was held from June 21 to July 3 2022, the Ssempiira Foundation was urged to organize a similar conference for Frontline Workers.

Whereas Frontline workers have proved to be the backbone of healthcare, thanks to the pandemic; the toll of mental health that the public has endured has not spared them. They are like the tow truck that is often assumed to be too strong to need any care of its own. So what happens when the tow truck breaks down! We shall learn how selfcare can be prioritized in the midst of unforgiving duties and crazy schedules.

During this three day conference frontline workers will interactively share brief stories and experiences. It will be an interactive and spontaneous dialogue. Participants can choose to attend 1,2 or all 3 days if they can. It will be an in-person event.
