This course offers an introduction to mental health and mental health issues. This course raises awareness of mental health.
The aim of this training will enable learners to increase their knowledge in:
- Mental health and mental health issues
- Factors affecting mental health
- Stigma and its impact on recovery
- Beginning a conversation with someone about their mental health
- Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing poor mental health
- Looking after your own mental health
Can I attend for free?
You can attend the above course for free if you are either:
- Unemployed
- Receiving benefits
- Earning less than £35,864 per annum
You also need to be over 19 years of age and have a Wirral postcode.
