As a Dutchess County Legislator, I’m proud to host the 5th Annual Mental Health Awareness Bike Ride right here in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Malcolm X Park (131 Mansion Street)—in partnership with Scenic Hudson.

This event is about more than biking—it’s about building community, raising awareness, and reminding each other that mental health matters. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking to get active and connected, this ride is for you.

What to Expect:

• Free bike tune-ups (arrive by 11:30 AM)

• Swag bags and bike kit giveaways 12:00

• Local organizations offering wellness resources

• A supportive, family-friendly ride through the city

• Ride kicks off at 1:00 PM

This event is part of a larger regional effort to promote physical and mental wellness across the Hudson Valley—but Poughkeepsie is where we lead with love, service, and purpose.
