About this Event
Mental Health and Older People in the Church
The later stages of life come with many challenges; on this day, we will focus on the mental health of older people and also the wellbeing of those who care for them. We will be led by Paul Crowther, the Churches Co-ordinator at Embracing Age.
Paul will present two keynote addresses in the morning, on these two significant topics for pastoral care in the church. There will also be space for networking and for resting in the beautiful surroundings of Foxhill. Lunch is provided. In the afternoon, we offer a variety of workshops to enable further discussion and reflection.
We look forward to seeing you at Foxhill!
Embracing Age is a Christian charity working towards a world where older people are valued, connected and full of hope, by combatting loneliness, mobilising volunteers and equipping churches. Paul Crowther works with churches across the UK to support their ministry with older people. He lives on the Wirral and was previously employed in church leadership at Holy Trinity Church, Poulton Lancelyn.
The day is free and lunch is provided.
