Menstruation, Menopause and More...

Join us for our friendly monthly get-together at Rosie Birth Centre on the Biomedical Campus. Enjoy free drinks & sweet treats, good company, and supportive conversation.

You don’t have to work on campus to come along — everyone’s welcome! These sessions are a safe, open space to share, learn, and connect, whether you’re experiencing menstrual, menopausal or other female health issues yourself or supporting someone who is. We know that dealing with rare conditions or complex health issues can sometimes feel isolating, but you’re not alone.

We also run a Menstruation, Menopause and More... sessions at the Hub, Frank Lee Centre and shortly online too - for details please see here: https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/menstruation-menopause-and-more-4799427

Did you know that menopausal women are the fastest-growing group in the workplace? Around 8 in 10 are in work, and while some experience few symptoms, 3 in 4 have noticeable ones, with 1 in 4 facing serious challenges. Yet, about half have never spoken to a healthcare professional, and many feel uncomfortable discussing menopause-related issues at work.

That’s why we’ve created the Menstruation, Menopause and More Group, a relaxed, confidential space where you can listen, share experiences, and support each other. Whether you have menstrual issues, are going through menopause, supporting a friend or family member, or simply want to understand how to be more supportive at work, this is for you. There’s no set agenda, no pressure, and no sales pitch — just open, honest conversation.

Let’s get the conversation going.

We encourage you to come to campus sustainably: there are direct routes in from both Trumpington Park and Ride and Babraham Road Park and Ride, where parking is free - there are also good bus services from all over Cambridge to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Bike parking is available at Frank Lee Centre. There is car parking on site, but it is very expensive.

This group is run in partnership by Cambridge Biomedical Campus Ltd
