What is a Men’s Sangha?

Our Men’s Sangha is a community of men coming together to learn, share and experience deep connection in community.

Everyone is welcome here, and we celebrate the diversity of all people. Including gender identity, sexual orientation, and background, you are valued, respected, and embraced for who you are. This is a space where everyone can be their authentic selves and find support, connection, and belonging.

This is an event for men and all who identify as men.

We gather the third Saturday of the month.

There is a potency and power of men supporting each other in a fun, collaborative and co-creative way. The time is now for us to come together, share together, celebrate together and go deep together.

Monthly themes and guests align with what is most up for us right now.

In January the theme is Your Voice.

Location:

The Inner Alchemy Sanctuary and Studio is located at 3618 SW Alaska Street and is a warm and cozy space to gather together.

What to bring:

A journal, an item to add to our altar, a drum or other instrument, a water bottle, favorite blanket and comfy slippers (the sanctuary and studio is shoes free). Once you are registered, stay tuned for an informational email with all the details.

Nearly 20 years of sitting in and facilitating men’s groups as part of an organization called The Mankind Project which is a global brotherhood where men mentor men throughout the passages of their lives and empowers them to missions of service, supporting men to make a difference in the lives of others – men, women, and children around the world.I have been trained in shamanic medicine and leadership teachings through the Alchemist Path – International Academy of Shamanic Arts and Leadership.I have studied in Mexico, the ancient teachings of the Huichol peoples, under the tutelage of an indigenous medicine man.I have facilitated drumming circles and led workshops on animal spirit guide work at Inner Alchemy

Local Guest Chris Lott:

Chris Lott LMHCA is a mindfulness-based somatic therapist at Syzygy Psychotherapy Collective, music educator, and musician whose work utilizes non-ordinary states of consciousness for connection, communication, and creativity. His music making and workshops explore mystical states of ecstasy and trance through collective improvisation, deep listening, sonic texture and tunings that honor the pure resonance of the harmonic series. His music can be found online under the bandname Wall of Ears. In this experiential workshop, we will bring awareness to ourselves and others through deep listening and opening up our voices. Through interactive music making we will make contact with the resonant, abstract and emotional nature of sound and free ourselves to express whatever is within us that needs attention or release.
