About this Event
This free men-only event is designed to build a stronger and more connected community among the multicultural men of DCNOMA while creating space for honest conversations around the realities many of us face both personally and professionally.
Together, we’ll discuss topics including:
• Mental health and emotional wellness
• Stress, burnout, and pressure within the profession
• Leadership, expectations, and vulnerability
• Balancing career, family, relationships, and identity
• Navigating the architecture and design industry as men of color
• Building support systems, mentorship, and accountability
This will not be a lecture — it’s meant to be an open, welcoming environment where men can connect authentically, share experiences, and support one another in meaningful ways.
The evening will also include:
• Food and drinks
• Networking and fellowship
• Access to Spartan Surfaces’ lounge-style venue with a bar and pool table
• Opportunities to build stronger relationships within the chapter
We want this to be a safe and uplifting experience that reminds our members they are not alone in what they carry.
