About this Event
Men are told to be strong. To tough it out. To figure it out alone.
And it's killing them.
Men account for nearly 80% of suicide deaths in the United States — yet they remain the least likely group to seek mental health support. The silence isn't strength. It's a crisis. And it's one that lives right here in our community.
On June 12th, that changes.
Bright Path Behavioral Health and co-sponsors are bringing together a group of dedicated local mental health professionals for the Men's Mental Health Awareness Panel — a free, open community event designed to start the conversations men need to hear, and to build the connections our community needs to thrive.
What to Expect
This isn't a lecture. It's a conversation.
A diverse panel of Triangle-area professionals will lead an open, honest discussion on:
- Why men struggle to ask for help — and what gets in the way
- The role of culture, community, and identity in men's mental health
- What real support looks like, and where to find it
- How we — as individuals, families, and organizations — can change the culture together
There will be space for audience questions, connection, and conversation. Come ready to listen, share, and leave with something real.
