Half of Ireland’s population will experience menopause during their lifetime and it is only in recent years that this phase of life is openly spoken about. Science and understanding of menopause has advanced hugely and the more conversations we can have about this topic the better for everyone. Join journalist Dr Claire O’Connell for a unique in conversation event with leading menopause expert Dr Deirdre Forde of Ceile Medical. Dr Forde is an expert in menopause health and a leading advocate in the media and public sphere for more discussion of menopause and helping every woman become empowered through their menopause journey. Midlands Science Festival is supported by the Research Ireland Discover Programme as part of national Science Week. Please note a ticket is for one person.
