About this Event
A menopause café is a discussion group, open to all ages and genders: no talks, no experts, Just an open, safe space to share experiences.
Unfortunately many people feel that they should just 'get on with' the menopause, with some never discussing it with their friends or family. So the menopause café movement was started, in 2017, to allow people to talk about it and has consequently spread worldwide.
Rachel Weiss, founder of the menopause café charity says, "The menopause café is for everyone who wants to talk about the menopause, to share their stories, experiences and questions-all made that little bit easier with tea and cake.
What to expect:
- Conversation wherein people can just listen, or join in
- Gain a clearer sense of the impact of the menopause
- Come alongside friends, family and colleagues who are experiencing the menopause
- Gain valuable knowledge through shared experiences
- Become empowered to embark on the menopause journey more confidently
