Menopause Awareness Training for Staff and Volunteers

As part of a collaborative project with the four other Minds in Greater Manchester, Stockport & District Mind is running FREE Menopause Awareness Training to support employees, volunteers and managers of small to medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) across Stockport and the rest of Greater Manchester.

An SME is any organisation that has fewer than 250 employees and a turnover of less than 50 million or a balance sheet total less than 43 million.

Menopause affects everyone; the people going through it, their colleagues, friends and families.

Our 90 Minute Menopause Awareness for Staff and Volunteers session gives participants the information and knowledge they need to navigate or support people in this important, transitional life stage.

The course covers:

• The effect of falling hormones and the range of symptoms that they can cause
• When it happens, how long it can last
• What can help
• How you can support a friend or colleague
• The positives!

Following attendance, you will receive an E-Resource pack full of information and links to further support.
