Menopause: A Road Map

A 4-part series covering the rarely-discussed details of menopause in a safe & inclusive space, hosted by Dr. Jenny Clement.
About this Event

Let’s be honest: most of us were taught way more about puberty than we ever were about menopause — even though we’ll likely spend a third (or more!) of our lives after it. Meanwhile, the internet is overflowing with confusing advice, wellness trends, and “miracle fixes.” It’s a lot.

This four-part series with Dr. Jenny Clement is here to cut through the noise and give women real, science-backed information about what’s happening in their bodies during every stage of the menopause transition — in a space that feels warm, inclusive, and supportive.

Each session is designed for 20-30 people so it feels personal while giving everyone a chance to ask questions, share stories, and feel seen and heard. Dr. Clement will spend about 30–40 minutes breaking things down in an easy-to-understand way — no medical jargon, no judgment — followed by a big Q&A section (the best part!) You can even send questions ahead of time so the conversation feels tailored to you.

Sessions run in person at our office (snacks and drinks included!) and online via Zoom the following day for those who prefer to join from home.
Cost: $50 per session.

Why We're Doing This

Women deserve better information — and better support — during menopause.

We’re bombarded with social media tips that focus on appearance, anti-aging hacks, or unrealistic “solutions.” But what most of us really want is to understand what’s happening in our bodies, what we can do about it, and how to feel good (and empowered) through it all.

This series is all about giving you:

  • clear, approachable explanations of what’s going on biologically
  • real treatment options that actually work
  • space to ask your questions
  • a community of women who are going through the same thing

You do not need to “tough it out,” guess your way through symptoms, or feel alone. There are answers — and you deserve them.

Meet Dr. Jenny Clement

If you’re picturing a traditional doctor in a white coat, think again.

Dr. Jenny Clement, 55, is a practicing Family Doctor and Certified Menopause Provider — but her path to medicine was anything but typical. Before becoming a physician, she spent six years traveling the world as an acrobat with Cirque du Soleil, then went to chef school and cooked professionally for five years. Eventually, she found her way to medical school at McMaster, becoming a doctor in 2004.

Her career has always centered around women’s health:

  • delivering babies for more than a decade
  • working in Public Health’s Healthy Sexuality Program
  • teaching medical students and residents
  • advocating for choice, confidence, and clear health information

Jenny is warm, funny, relatable, and deeply passionate about empowering women with the knowledge they weren’t given earlier in life. Her approach is grounded, science-based, and refreshingly human.

The Sessions
Jan 15: Perimenopause (Ages 35–55) - Virtual Option on Jan 16

Still having periods but… something feels different? We’ll talk hormones, symptoms, mood changes, and what’s actually happening behind the scenes — plus the treatments that help.

Jan 22: Early Post-Menopause (Ages 45–60 — or anyone curious!) - Virtual Option on Jan 23

If you’ve recently had your final period, this one’s for you. We’ll cover symptoms, long-term health considerations, and how to set yourself up for feeling strong and supported in the next phase.

Jan 27: Late Post-Menopause (60+ — or anyone wanting a preview) - Virtual Option on Jan 28

We’ll focus on the things that can show up 5–10+ years after menopause: sexual health changes, vaginal and urinary symptoms, bone health, osteoporosis prevention — all the things that deserve more attention (and better information).

Feb 12: For Partners — “Why Is My Partner So Different Right Now?” - Virtual Option on Feb 13

A fun, honest session for partners who want to understand what the women they love are experiencing — physically, emotionally, and in their relationships. Consider it a friendly crash course with plenty of practical takeaways.
