Got something in your closet that needs mending? Haven't got round to it yet, or not sure how to?
Join Chicago Fair Trade's for a beginner-friendly DIY mending masterclass led by professional fiber arts instructor Kristine Brandel! Learn how to extend the useful life of your clothing, plus sip on refreshing margaritas made with ethically-sourced tequila.
How does it work? Just book your ticket and show up! Needles and thread, plus other mending materials, will be provided. You are welcome to bring along any items of clothing you want to learn how to mend. If you don't have anything, no worries - we'll have some fabric scraps and old clothing you can practice on.
Ticket prices: $15 or $5 for Chicago Fair Trade members (contact us for the discount code). Interested in becoming a Chicago Fair Trade member? and purchase your year-long membership as a ticket!
