American violinist Benjamin Beilman makes a highly anticipated return, performing Mendelssohn’s sparkling Violin Concerto in E minor – one of the most beloved concertos ever written.Hailing from Norway, Tabita Berglund is an exciting and in-demand conductor, renowned for her alert, charismatic and inspiring style.
Berglund makes her TSO debut with this suite of audience favourites including Dvořák’s lyrical and folk-inspired Symphony No 8. She also introduces us to Pan, a tone poem by Norwegian composer David Monrad-Johansen.
