Continue your mending journey at home with embroidery kits and darning aids like eggs and mushrooms from , our local zero waste bulk refill store, available for purchase.

ACCESSIBILITY AND ACCOMODATIONS:

We also have gender neutral, accessible bathrooms and pride ourselves in being an LGBTQ+ friendly space. Our front door has a single step, but we are sourcing a ramp for the front to help in the near future. Please let us know if you have any particular accessibility needs and we will do our best to accomodate.

FOOD AND DRINK IN THE SPACE

All our craft meets include free coffee and tea. Borrow one of our mugs, or bring your favourite reusable container. Outside food or snacks are welcome. We ask that snacks be nut free.

Info: We'll be at Monarch Park to enjoy the outdoors, mend some clothes, and help disrupt the fast-fashion industry stitch by stitch. We'll have materials and tools with us to share with anyone who's in need.

Info: Alex (he/they) will teach you the basics of mending knit fabrics. Mending not only extends the life of your garment, but visibly tells the story of it's use. You will learn to weave beautiful patches onto clothes, or how to darn from the back for a more subtle approach.

Info: Open crafting and mending time with tonnes of materials and tools at your disposal.
