About this Event
The Mend in Public Day event is an act of collective resistance against the disposable fashion system. We invite Fashion Revolutionaries to join us in stitching, embroidering, and patching our loved clothes.
Bring along your own clothing item to mend, as well as any mending tools or resources you may need. We will have some mending supplies, but these may be limited! Learn how to resew buttons, darn holes, patch, and mend your clothes with guidance from a seasoned mender.
Mend in Public Day is about helping loved clothes last longer through repair and reuse. By participating, you’ll be part of , a global collective action for a clean, fair and safe fashion industry.
