About this Event
The MENA Knowledge Project is a series of workshops for K-12 education that aim to provide a nuanced understanding of the Middle East. Moving beyond broad categorizations that often lead to stereotypes, we seek to educate youth on the region's intricate diversity, inspiring them to explore its rich heritage. We cover topics such as urban architecture, history, language, and more to foster an enthusiasm for learning about the Middle East.
Join us at The West End Museum to learn about Middle Eastern Materials and Construction! Earth as Architecture explores Adobe, Rammed Earth, and Clay Construction for kids, followed by a hands-on clay activity! Everyone is welcome, and all ages can join in on the fun.
Please note that this is not an official event of The West End Museum.
