About this Event
Menopause affects relationships, families, and households. Not just women.
Men of Pause is a welcoming space for men to learn what their partners, sisters, mothers, friends, and coworkers may be experiencing, and how to offer better support. No prior knowledge needed. Just come with curiosity.
Hosted by the UConn Health Disparities Institute, this FREE event invites men to watch The (M) Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause documentary and join a guided conversation about menopause, midlife changes, communication, relationships, and men’s health, including andropause, often referred to as the "male menopause."
The purpose of this event is to reduce stigma, build understanding, strengthen relationships, and help men feel more confident showing up for the people they love and care about.
