About this Event
This month, we're switching things up! Join us at as we celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month with a tasting of rums from East Asia. Chef Sarah will be leading the tasting, which will feature sugarcane spirits from Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand.
The sugarcane plant and related spirits have a deep history in East and Southeast Asia, originating on the island of Papua (aka New Guinea) and continuous cultivation and harvesting. We are looking forward to celebrating this intersection of culture, agriculture, and spirits.
We'll be hosted in Good Fortune's brand new event space next door to the restaraunt. After trying the samples, the bar will have special cocktails featuring the rums on display, similar to our previous meetups.
Admission is free, though space is limited; Good Fortune Co. has first-come first-serve seating, and we strongly advise an early arrival to guarantee seats.
We hope to see you there!
