About this Event
This summer, Torath invites you back to the songs that lived in our homes, the ones we heard from our parents and grandparents, in evenings filled with music, tea, and quiet gathering.
This is Torath’s only concert this summer:
- New Songs from our Arabic Classics,
- New Theater and
- New Voices
A one-night experience dedicated to the melodies that carry our memories of where we come from, and the moments we continue to share.
We are Pleased to welcome Yousef Shamoun to Torath this evening and another classical set by Shadi Kattan.
The evening's program also introduces new choir members to the Torath's stage.
Bring your family, your parents, your grandparents, or your friends, and relive the moments we have always cherished.
هذا هو الحفل الوحيد لتُراث هذا الصيف:
أغانٍ جديدة من كلاسيكياتنا العربية، مسرح جديد، وأصوات جديدة.
هذا الصيف، تدعوكم تُراث للعودة إلى الأغاني التي عاشت في بيوتنا، تلك التي سمعناها من أهلنا وأجدادنا، في أمسياتٍ امتلأت بالموسيقى، والشاي، ودفء اللقاء.
أغانٍ جديدة من كلاسيكياتنا العربية،
مسرح جديد،
وأصوات جديدة…
أمسية واحدة مكرّسة للألحان التي تحمل ذاكرتنا، وذكريات الأماكن التي جئنا منها، واللحظات التي ما زلنا نتشاركها حتى اليوم.
يسرّنا أن نرحّب بيوسف شمعون في تُراث هذا المساء، إلى جانب فقرة كلاسيكية أخرى يقدّمها شادي قطّان.كما يقدّم برنامج تراث لهذه الأمسية ولأول مرة أعضاء الكورال الجدد على مسرح تُراث.
