Memories in the MakingProfessional Training - Creative Social Engagement Session
*Discover How a Signature Art Program for Those Living with Memory Loss Benefits Life Enrichment Professionals
The challenges of caring for those living with memory loss can make connection through social engagement difficult. Yet the Alzheimer’s Association knows that for individuals experiencing memory loss, social engagement is critical in maintaining and promoting brain health, while supporting well being.
Memories in the Making® is the signature art program of the Alzheimer’s Association, introduced in 1988, that allows individuals with cognitive decline to express themselves through art and share the essence of who they are.
Life Enrichment Professionals will experience a creative social engagement session, demonstrating that in creating a peaceful safe space for your communiity members
to participate in social gatherings, it allows people to connect, socialize, and build new trusted support networks.
Together we’re sharing Joyful Laughter, Stories and Creativity !
All art supplies are provided. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
All attendees will be entered into a drawing to receive a FREE Memories in the Making Art Kit and Training (A $1,000.00 value, generously donated by the Forget Me Not Fund).
