Early 2025, Hundreds of you attended our daughter’s funeral.
Sadly, Bella took her own life, leaving behind her much-loved family and friends. It also breaks our hearts that within her short lifetime, Bella had experienced domestic violence..
The support from the community on the day of our daughter, Bella’s funeral was overwhelmingly beautiful.
Last year was tough. We’ve had our extreme lows and beautiful highs that naturally come along with the passing of an immediate family member.
Being emotionally and mentally drained, looking around the house, the garden, her bedroom, down the drive, the dinner table and movie nights at home knowing Bella’s not physically here has changed all our lives massively. With what we have experienced now and will live with….. we need to celebrate and keep her memory alive how ever we can.
So we’ve decided this year we are going to journey further into the memory of our daughter Bella’s happy places and experiences and put a ride on in her name which will be exactly 1 year and 1 day since she passed on.
The “ Memorial Ride For Bella “ will take place on the (17 - 05 -2026) leaving the Vineyard Hotel, continuing on to the GreyGums Cafè.
Our daughter’s memorial ride is NOT a fundraiser or charity event, it’s free to attend so no requirements for payment to attend and will run until the last person leaves the venue on the day.
We ask that you come and celebrate our daughter’s life that ended so abruptly. Gathered together as a community, we will keep her memory alive.
The event is run by myself, Bella’s step-mum and the Sisters Aus Suicide and domestic violence prevention SMC.
