Each year, as Memorial Day approaches, we have the privilege of paying tribute to the men and women who served our country—and we’d love your help.On Saturday, May 23, staff and volunteers will place a flag at the grave of every Veteran interred at Evergreen Cemetery. With more than 1,100 Veterans resting across our 56-acre property, it’s a meaningful morning of remembrance – and one that goes much faster with many hands. We provide the flags and maps.
This is a wonderful activity for all ages – from young children to grandparents. Families are warmly welcome, and it’s a beautiful way to teach the next generation about honoring those who served. Invite your friends or create a volunteer team! It’s a great opportunity for team building with a purpose, and a morning your group will long remember.
