Our program begins with the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Honor Guard's presentation of colors, continues with patriotic favorites like Sousa marches and Morton Gould's "American Salute" (based on "When Johnny Comes Marching Home"), and features the "Hymn to the Fallen" by John Williams. We’ll also include arrangements by music director Khris Dodge of pieces honoring our nation's Black service men and women: the spirituals "Oh, Freedom" and "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel," and Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldier."Once again we welcome Greg Curtis Wakefield to the stage to narrate this special program.
