The City of Sterling Heights and its Arts Commission will host the 47th annual Sterling Heights Memorial Day Ceremony & Parade on Monday, May 25.This year’s theme is “Remember the Past, Honor the Present: 250 Years of America.” The ceremony will feature remarks from our 2026 Grand Marshal Manny Gonzales, Mayor Michael C. Taylor, and Arts Commission Chairperson Barbara Chudzik.
Memorial Day activities begin promptly at 9 a.m. in the City Center Courtyard, between City Hall and the Police Station, as hundreds gather for a solemn tribute to all veterans who died in the line of duty. At 10 a.m., the parade will kick off and proceed south on Dodge Park Road.
