The City of Sterling Heights and its Arts Commission will host the 45th Annual Sterling Heights Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27. This year's theme is "Salute to Service: Honoring Heroes & Innovations". The ceremony will feature remarks from our 2024 Grand Marshal Judge Stephen Sierawski, Mayor Michael C. Taylor, and Arts Commission Chairperson Jeanne Schabath-Lewis.
Memorial Day activities begin promptly at 9 a.m. in the City Center Courtyard as hundreds gather for a solemn tribute to all veterans who died in the line of duty. At 10 a.m., the parade kicks off and proceeds south on Dodge Park Road to Metropolitan Parkway, ending at Heritage Jr. High.
