About this Event
Curious about birds and the incredible species we have here in the Pacific Northwest? Join professional naturalist and experienced birder Kate Brown for a relaxed morning bird walk at Cornwall Park. We will chat about what to look and listen for while birding, discuss some of the common species we are likely to spot in this park and what makes them unique- then meander the trails while birding and chatting.
This park is home to nesting Great Horned Owls, and their fledgelings have been very conspicuous for several weeks. This will be our last public walk this spring focused on searching for owls specifically.
Bring any binoculars you might have (I own a few to share!)
Accessibility Note: We will be meeting at the entrance to Cornwall Park located on Meridian Street. Find our group near the covered picnic pavilion.
