Workshop description:
We all have stories to tell. Pick up the pen and get started in this guided workshop with simple writing prompts. Learn practical tips for sustaining a writing habit you can stick with and enjoy. No prior writing experience necessary; all adults are welcome to attend. Please bring a notebook, pen and any writing tools that serve you.

About Lara:
BIO: Lara Tupper believes that a writing practice can be built from short bursts of freewriting. A graduate of the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College (MFA), Lara taught writing at Rutgers University for many years and now teaches throughout Western Massachusetts. Lara is the founder of Swift Ink Stories, offering private manuscript development, book coaching, and public writing workshops. She is an award-winning author of two novels, Off Island and A Thousand and One Nights, as well as a short story collection, Amphibians. Her third novel, At the Center, is forthcoming in 2027. She cares for eight incredible hens.
