MEMJ 2025 Capitol Day of Action

Join us on September 10th for a day of action that includes a climate rally + festival, dynamic guest speakers, live music, food, and direct engagement with our state legislators! In partnership with the MICAN Climate Summit the day prior, MEMJ Capitol Day is an opportunity to put into action all of the energy and insight advocates gained at the summit.

Capitol Day festivities will take place on the Capitol lawn and inside of the Capitol building from 9am - 4pm EST at the Michigan Captiol building. The MICAN Climate Summit will take place on September 9th @ the Lansing Center.

Legislators will be available to meet with their constitutents throughout the day on September 10th. If you are interested in meeting directly with your legislator and/or other members of the Legislature, we encourage you to arrive to the Capitol Lawn by 8am on September 10th to participate in a Legislative briefing.

Please indicate your interest by selecting the "Legislator Engagement" ticket option on your registration and we will contact you with further instructions. Legislator engagement meetings are limited so please register in advance. If you miss out, there will be an opportunity to engage legislators during our lunch on the Capitol lawn later in the afternoon.

This is an opportunity to connect and build with your fellow advocates, learn from climate/clean energy experts, and prepare for the Captiol Day taking place on September 10th.
