About this Event

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT -

BEFORE BOOKING, YOU MUST BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT YOUR CHILD/YOUNG PERSON WILL BE HAPPILY ABLE TO TOLERATE A TOUR FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR ENCLOSED IN A TRAILER WITH 16 OTHER PEOPLE AND A RANGER SPEAKING OVER AN AUDIO SYSTEM. IF YOU DON'T THINK THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE DON'T BOOK IN.

Please be aware that once the ride has commenced, you will not be able to get off so please ensure all the members of your party are happy to remain on the trailer for the duration of the tour.

This tour is for our child members up to and including the age of 15, along with their parents/carers and siblings. Please arrive by 1:45pm so that the tour can leave promptly at 2:00pm. They cannot wait for people who arrive late. You will be sharing a trailer with other WNAG members.

The trailer is covered but open at the sides and it may be wet and windy or scorching hot (!) so please dress appropriately for your safari adventure! Perhaps bring a blanket for the trailer ride too if you think it's needed.

This is their link https://watatunga.co.uk

Location: when you arrive at the roundabout junction of the A10 and A134 turn off to Watlington and about 100 metres on the left you will see the Watatunga sign - turn in there and follow the lane and signs to the wildlife park. It's a bit like entering Jurassic Park! It's bumpy so drive carefully.

Quiet voices will be needed when you are close to the animals. Take lots of photos and do share them on our WNAG Facebook group!

We are asking for a £8 per head donation for children and a £12 per head donation for adults please. If you fail to turn up or cancel last minute, we will unfortunately need to ask you to pay the full price of £18 per head for a child, £22 a head for an adult.

Please book in every member of your party and please enter the name of each person individually. Siblings are welcome if accompanying the autistic member.
