This Member Morning is gonna be rockin’! Have you ever wandered into People’s Records and discovered a rare 45 from Fortune Records? Then you wonder about the history of that 45 on Tamla? THEN you wonder how to start building that hip record collection you’ve always wanted? We’ve got you covered. In coordination with our National R&B Hall of Fame exhibit, this month we’ve invited Adam Stanfel and Erica Aytes of Motor City Soul Club to share with us how they started collecting, where to find those soul-shakers, the excitement of crate-digging, as well as a little bit of record label history in Detroit covering all genres.
