About this Event
Liberty Hall is extending its tour hours, just for members! Liberty Hall's history is filled with stories of fascinating women. From Susan Livingston, daughter of Governor Livingston, whose dating exploits saved Liberty Hall from the British during the Revolutionary War. Additionally, Julia Kean Fish, who influenced American politics, and Abbe, an enslaved woman, who resisted the institution of slavery. To Mary Alice Barney Kean, who worked tirelessly to preserve our historic structures. This special tour for May's Member Monday highlights the incredible women who lived and labored at Liberty Hall.
