Join us for May's Yin Yoga class with Maia Alexandra!
Yin Yoga is a floor-based form of yoga that incorporates long holds to sink into each pose and stretch. The longer holds aid in deeper access of the tendons, ligaments, and fascia to promote deep relaxation and release, increase flexibility, and aid in circulation. Each class is 1.5 hours long.
New to yoga? Can't touch your toes or run for miles? No worries! No experience is required to participate - all are welcome regardless of fitness level or flexibility. Yoga mats are available for use, but feel free to bring your own equipment if you prefer.
Mellow Mondays - Yin Yoga with Maia are monthly, donation-based classes, with all proceeds going to Friends of Night People, a local organization that helps the poor and homeless of Buffalo. Classes occur on the first Monday of each month at 6pm.
Only five spaces available per class. Due to the limited space we are not doing drop-ins for these classes.
