Elena thrilled MO audiences with her coloratura fireworks in performances of Rossini's Otello, and Donizetti's Anna Bolena and Maria Stuarda. Alongside Elena, Rosario La Spina, following his triumph in Die Walkure for Opera Australia and leading Australian baritone Simon Meadows head a stellar cast. After the huge successes directing both the award winning Bendigo Ring Cycle and Maria Stuarda in 2023, Suzanne Chaundy will return to direct this wonderful bel canto opera.
