A Sensory Walk in a Pennine CloughAbout this Event
Mosses and liverworts are extraordinary guides to the places we live in and walk through. On this slow, immersive walk through Colden Clough we'll use all of our senses (yes - all of them!) to read the woods as bryophytes exerience them and unlock the stories they tell about climate, air quality, human history and deep time.
No prior knowledge required - just bring curiosity, a10x hand lens if you have one, sturdy footwear and clothing appropriate to the weather. Patient dogs are welcome.
Meet at Eaves Playground, Eaves Avenue, Hebden Bridge for 10.00 am start.
