Join us for this free special evening event, as Rita Trumbo and Nancy Finkle from the East Bay End-Of-Life Doula Network discuss a span of topics, ranging from planning the practicalities to arranging culturally and individually relevant emotional support for the dying, supporters, and loved ones before, during, and after death.

- Why talk about dying? How do I begin? (Greater ease and "letting go"; Death Cafe, "Death Over Dinner", Go Wish or Death Deck, videos or movies as a group)
- What choices might I have in planning for my own death? (Advance Directives & Living Wills)
- What is the dying process? What might my death look like? (Hospice or no Hospice, Hospitalized Death, choosing MAiD, VSED - Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking - process of Active Dying, and more)
- How can I prepare for my family be taken care of? (Naming Executors/DPOAHC & Finance, Community Support, and Legacies of Love such as letters, videos)
- I’ve died -- Now What? (Body Care, Disposition, All the Details, Celebration of Life, Memorials)
There will be a Question and Answer period at the end of the presentation.
