An Evening for Haarlem's Expat CommunityBeing expats ourselves, we know the feeling well: you love this city, you've built your life here, but sometimes it feels like the conversation is happening in a language and a world that doesn't quite include you. And yet, we work here, we live here, and we pay our taxes here, just like everyone else.
That's exactly why we at Tirrenia want to make things different. We want to be a place where Haarlem's international community feels seen, heard, and at home. And that means bringing the right people to the table, and talking in a language you're comfortable with.
With the local elections just around the corner, we invited council members from D66 Gemeente Haarlem to come and meet you. In English. Face to face.
This is your chance to ask them what their plans are for our beautiful city, to challenge their decisions, to share your ideas, and to speak up for what you actually need. After all, that is their job. They get paid for it, with our taxes!
Come join us at our coffee place at Haarlem Station on Monday the 16th of March at 18:30. There will be snacks, drinks, good conversation, and a real opportunity to make your voice count.
We are proud to host this evening, and we hope to see you there.
