About this Event
We’re kicking off Friday the 13th with Nolan Jones of Lava Cap Winery. Join us to hang out and taste through five of their newest releases. This is a rare chance to learn about the Jones family and their 40-year history in the Sierra Foothills while enjoying a grazing table of charcuterie bites and high-altitude wines.
The Jones family has been farming their specific "lava cap" volcanic soil in Placerville since 1981. This rare geology is what makes their wines stand out. Nolan will be in the tasting room to share the history of the estate and the unique terroir of their vineyards.
Enjoy 2-ounce pours of the following wines:
2024 Rosé of Dolcetto and Grenache
2024 Vermentino
2024 Grenache
2023 Barbera
2023 Cabernet Franc
This is a social, "come-as-you-go" event from 6 PM to 9 PM. If you have a seating preference, please reach out to us. This is an indoor and outdoor event; well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome on our backyard patio.
