Join us in the Open City Lab for Meet the researcher as part of our Shopping Trolley Secrets activity. (Included in your day ticket)Meet the researchers investigating how shopping data can improve our understanding of illnesses such as gastrointestinal diseases and ovarian cancer. Hear how they use shopping data to make discoveries that could save lives.
Visit the mock-shop in open city lab, see how your shopping compares to other visitors, and have your say on how you think shopping data should (or shouldn’t be used).
In October there will also be volunteers from Ovarian Cancer Charity Ovacome to support sensitive conversations around ovarian cancer and how this research could improve early detection. Some topics (such as cancer and other diseases) mentioned by this event may be difficult, so visitor discretion is advised.
