About Our Speaker: Annie Hill
Annie Hill leads The Hill Tribe Family Office, a philanthropic group creating employment pathways. Starting as a 'Fry Chick' at McDonald's in 1984, she and her husband Richard opened McDonald's Kalgoorlie in 1997. Annie founded the Goldfields Children’s Charity Annual Fundraising Ball and chaired the RMH Perth Ball. She also helped form the Australian Women’s Leadership Network (AWLN) Chapter.
Annie joined the Board of 12 Buckets in 2019, focusing on well-being and culture transformation. Despite personal challenges, she remains dedicated to supporting youth and diversity. The Hill Tribe Family Office is now developing a Community Hub to foster innovative employment pathways.

Meridian Global Foundation is a Perth Based Giving Circle with a mission to inspire philanthropy in everyday people so they can become an everyday philanthropist. Established in 2005, we have supported over 43 charities globally and raised over $1.28 million. To date we have given away $660,000 and accumulated over $700,000 in our investment fund. Our goal is to grow our investment fund to a point that we can donate $1M to our past charities every single year – in perpetuity. We have had consistent growth in recent years, in 2024 we raised $163k.
