About the Curator
Nina Bozicnik is the senior curator at the Henry Art Gallery. She has organized multiple artist commissions, solo-artist presentations, and group exhibitions for the Henry, alongside academic and public programs developed in partnership with university and community partners. Her recent exhibitions include (2024), Sophia Al-Maria (2023/24), (2023); (2022); (2021/22); (2021); and (2021), realized in collaboration with Velocity Dance Center.Nina’s recent exhibition publications include Raúl de Nieves: a window to the see, a spirit star chiming in the wind of wonder…; Bugs & Beasts Before the Law, Appendix A-L; and Carrie Yamaoka: recto/verso.
