As we approach the June primary, learn about the leading Lieutenant Governor candidates by attending Manny's series of town halls with the top three candidates and learn who might serve as the second-highest ranking elected official in California, holding significant power over education, housing, and economic policy. Moderated by Nancy Tung, Chair of the SF Democratic Party!

Josh Fryday is California's Chief Service Officer in Governor Newsom's Cabinet, a former Mayorof Novato, and a Naval Officer who has dedicated his career to making governmentwork better, fighting for our values, and bringing people together to tackle the crises of our time.
Under his leadership, California has built the nation's largest service corps-now larger thanthe Peace Corps, creating over 10,000 paid opportunities for Californians to serve theircommunities. He has launched first-in-the-nation programs, that are now models across the country, pioneeringinnovative solutions to combat climate change, strengthen education, tackle food insecurity,and improve disaster preparedness-all while reducing college debt, expanding career pathways, and bridging divides.

Nancy Tung was elected as chair of the San Francisco Democratic Party in April 2024. She previously served as an elected member of the party's local leadership for four years. She deeply understands the impact the Democratic Party has on our local elections and is guiding a new caucus of moderate Democrats in the party.
Nancy's core issues are public safety, improving public schools, increasing the housing stock, and supporting small businesses. Outside of politics, Nancy is a career prosecutor, having served at the state and local level for 26 years, and a mom to two young boys.
