On Tuesday March 31st, the North Shore League of Women Voters (LWV) will host a Meet-the-Candidates event in Room 14 at North Reading Town Hall, 235 North Street. These events are an excellent opportunity to meet the candidates, ask them tough questions, and assess their suitability for public office. All candidates for Select Board, School Committee, and Community Planning Commission, and Town Moderator will be invited to attend. This event is non-partisan and open to the public.
The NR Democratic Town Committee is not involved in sponsoring or organizing this event but encourages local Democrats to attend because we will not be organizing a separate NRDTC-sponsored Meet-the-Candidates night. Local Republicans almost certainly will organize a separate event, however (details TBD).
