MEET THE AUTHOR "Learn About Flights" by Roberta Balmer!
Join us for a special event at Samo's Greek Kitchen featuring the book "Wilson & Company: Learn About Flight." Author Roberta Balmer will be reading from her engaging new book, which tells the story of a fifth-grade student named Wilson. His sidekick, Craw, is a rather large imaginary bird (Corella)—or is he imaginary? Wilson's best friend, Phoebe, can also see Craw, leading to intriguing questions about their reality. As they delve into their science project on flight, Wilson and Phoebe discover more about themselves on their journey, ultimately finding their own paths.

About Roberta Balmer
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Roberta Balmer later moved to Whitley Bay, Northumberland, known for its connection to the beloved series Vera. In 1967, Roberta emigrated to Canada, where she established a career as an International Education Consultant specializing in Special Education. This role allowed her to travel extensively, including a memorable three-year stay in Mauritius. Now fully retired, Roberta is dedicating her time to writing for pleasure.
