HOUSING WITH HEART
Concerned about the lack of affordable housing in Ottawa?
Interested in an opportunity to do something kind and significant?
Housing with Heart is a concert and charcuterie reception fundraising event to support the efforts of the Multifaith Housing Initiative (MHI) Dream LeBreton Capital Campaign to purchase 30 apartments in a new development in LeBreton Flats.
Named Dream LeBreton, this particular initiative will ensure MHI can offer Indigenous families lower rent housing and support services.

Event Goal: Our fundraising goal is $15,000 (net after expenses).
Event Description: Come and learn about the project, enjoy a concert with three varied acts by local musicians, and then engage in lively conversation while enjoying charcuterie boards and non-alcoholic beverages.
Event Schedule
- 3:15 pm – Doors open
- 4:00 pm – Welcome and presentation by MHI
- 4:30 pm – A concert of three acts: Deirdre Piper – classical organ; Marg Stubington and the First United Ensemble – vocal ensemble with piano accompaniment; and Yves Laroche & Peter Turner Jazz Duo - piano and trombone
- 5:30 pm – Charcuterie and conversation reception
