Becoming/Unbecoming by Una is a graphic novel that addresses difficult topics of sexual violence against women, misogyny, and feminism. T. Brown and Julia Stemper have been on a year-long journey to adapt the novel for the stage. Meet them and learn about how they worked, and more about the upcoming performance at SIU’s Kleinau Theatre on April 23-25th. This program is for mature audiences, as Becoming/Unbecoming has themes of sexual assault.
