Barbarann’s connection to the natural world began early, collecting feathers, rocks, and even snakes as a child, and painting anything she could get her hands on (including rocks she tried to sell to neighbors at age five). That same curiosity and creativity still drive her work today.
With a BFA from Bowling Green State University and formal training under renowned artists, Barbarann has spent a lifetime refining her craft. From watercolor to hand-drawn design work, and now painting on unique surfaces like wood, fabric, and slate, her work stands out for its depth, contrast, and originality.
Her pieces invite you to slow down and notice what’s often overlooked, the quiet beauty, the small details, even a touch of humor in the natural world around us.
