Author Bio:
Ray Couture is a highly regarded astrological counselor and life coach, who is of French-Canadian-Lakota Sioux, and Cajun descent. He has been involved with Astrology for more than 50 years having learned from Dane Rudhyar the Father of Humanistic Astrology.
Ray has presented many workshops, some of which were held at East West Bookshop. He owned and operated a bookstore in San Francisco showcasing the works of Dane Rudhyar. He also hosted many consciousness raising workshops with people like Marc Emund Jones, Robert Hand, Alan Oken and many others.
He created Meta Media to produce the only existing recording of an important Rudhyr lecture about transpersonal astrology. He has produced many radio programs at radio stations such as KQED, KALW and KPFA. Hecurrently produces a monthly astrology report on his Youtube channel.
About his new book:
Whether you are interested in astrology or just want to learn more, this book will open your mind. Ray’s book explores the differences between geocentric and heliocentric views. Using this comparison, he presents a more transpersonal and spiritual view of tropical astrology. He extends and applies certain conclusions of quantum physics to the understanding of astrology. He views the cosmos, as the Hindu’s do, as Brahman. He sees us as the product of a living cosmos. This should read as a product of a living cosmos and describes how one’s astrological chart is a diagram of their spiritual DNA. In this book the solar system is a living cell that incarnates to fill a need. Planets are not just rocks or gas balls, they are energy fields whose orbit holds the infinite potential of all that exists within each planetary field.
